Yes, 7 is quite a bit more integrated. At least, the System folder is less
cluttered. One thing I really like is that you
can skip the items in the Startup Folder by holding down the shift after
you get the menubar.

I'll try that and compare the two.

Try deleting big folders with many files. I was cleaning up my drive and was
deleting about 90 or so files at a time and I was getting a dialogue box
with a countdown.

Someone else pointed out the solution to me. It was MasterJuggler which isn't
System-7 compatible.

I dumped a bunch of the file-sharing/AppleShare-related extensions and I'm
down to 1450K or so. It's now much more comfortable.

Anyone have a System-7-studly tar? The tar that I used to use under 6 breaks.
