I am trying to wire up a mini din 8 plug for my IIgs with an
AE Datalink express modem. The reason I am trying to modify the
plug is that I cannot get the DTR to work and the manual for my
BBS program (Warp 6) suggests a cable modification.
The pin mapping is given as follows
 Computer end Modem end
  HSKo 1 ------------- 2 HSKi
  HSKi 2 ------------- 1 HSKo
  TxD 3 ------------- 5 RxD
  SG 4 ------------- 4 SG
  RxD 5 ------------- 3 TxD
  TxD 6 ------------- 8 RxD
  Gpi 7 -------------- 7 GPi
  RxD 8 ------------- 6 SG

 The plug looks like this

         ------
          ooo
         o o o
          o o
But the pins are not numbered!
Any clues, and is this rewiring the proper thing to fix the DTR problem?
Thanks in advance.
