I've just started using System 7.0 and TrueType; I have Word 4.00 (4.00A? Not
sure).

I made a document consisting of the sentence

This is plain text, and this is bold, and this is italic, and this is
  bold italic

where "bold" was in bold, "italic" was in italic, and "bold italic" was in
bold italic; the whole sentence was in Times font, and there were copies of
the sentence in each of the 6 sizes shown in the font size list (uh, 9, 10,
12, 14, 18, 20, 24? Something like that).

It looked more or less OK on screen. When printed on the Imagewriter II in
Best mode, the letters looked quite good, but the word spacing was weird.
Particlarly, for 5 of the 6 sizes, there was too much space in "bold italic"
while for one of the sizes (12 point, I think) there was almost none:
"bolditalic". There were other spacing problems but this was the most
obvious.

Any suggestions? Email reply preferred; I really will summarize. Thanks.
