I had heard that with System 7.0 beta versions that all non-System 7.0
Macs had to have their printing software upgraded with System 7.0
beta versions to prevent the printer from having to be constantly
initialized when a System 7.0 Mac printed followed by a System 6.0.x
Mac and vice-versa. Was this true and is it still true for final release
of System 7.0?

Thanks.
