I've been using the Video Creator for a while now and I like it. It can do single-frame recording and that's what we need here. But I'd be interested in hearing what other people are using it for.

I haven't needed to use the frame buffer yet and can't think of too many scenarios which would require it. How do other people use it?

Also, I had thought that the VC would allow me to overlay graphics onto video. This seemed to be what the descriptions of the genlock input suggested. I haven't been able to do this so far and rather doubt that it is possible. Does anyone have any wise words about the genlock input and its intended use?

Since there isn't a "Things to do with the Video Creator" book available, it would be helpful for me to know who's using it and what they're doing with it.
