Someone posted to the net a few weeks ago saying they had solved the mystery
of Multispool's schizophrenic performance (works for some people, doesn't work
for others, works only sometimes for the rest) I was skeptical, thinking I had
given Multispool a fair trial on my machine (hooked to a parallel Epson FX-80)
and concluded it basically didn't work. The person posting said that
Multispool only blows up on trying to print files from the Finder (i.e. if you
use it with, say, TeachText, it won't blow up) I had always tried to do a
"Print Directory" from the Finder, not figuring anything would be different
from an application, so I tried it from TeachText. It worked. Every Time.
Tried it from the Finder. Print Error 0. Every time. Hope this helps.
