I have an Amiga 500 for sale. It has an internal 40 meg hard drive, which
is very fast when compared to all other hard drives. I will send drive
access times for this drive as well as GVP/Supra controller set-ups. It is
an IDE drive with the AdIDE controller.
I also have 2.5 megs of memory, and a 4 meg expansion board just waiting
for 2 more megs. It has a nice clock, too!

I have a Magnovox monitor with a tilt/swivel base, and a surge protector
for the whole system. I also have a 2400 baud modem which works with any
Amiga. And last of all, a keyboard skin to protect it from dust and food, or
whatever might spill into it.

Well, there is one thing I don't have connected. I had to disconnect my
internal floppy drive to put in the 40 meg hard drive. I have been using an
external floppy to mount my hard drive, and I found it very usable with just
the hard drive connected. In fact, all that is needed to connect the internal
floppy drive is a 50 cent cable which I have not ordered yet (I will do so
before selling my Amiga so you won't have to worry about it).

Well, I estimate the system to be worth $1500 if you were to buy everything
brand new with todays street prices. I also have lots of software that is
included, plus EXTRA docs for C programming and 3d rendering that I printed
out in nice double-sided hole-punched binders. Well, I won't say anything
about the price, but I do have a low price in mind, and keep in mind that
there is software coming with it (300 fonts, C compiler, word processor, etc).

:)
