   A new version of the software I use to run Sun-Nets is available via
anonymous FTP from  ftp.umiacs.umd.edu.  Get the file pub/distribute.tar.Z;
this is (of course) compressed, so fetch it in binary mode.

   For those who are curious, the recent ``please add me'' message that
made it by the filter did so because it had more than 25 words in it. For
the few who saw my accidental test message last weekend, uh, that bug has
been fixed, too. In any case, the filter has two problems now as I see it:

	- the restriction that admin messages must be under 25 words long
		to be intercepted by the software

	- the fact that it won't catch LISTSERV-style ``subscribe foobar''
		messages

   I'm not sure what's too restrictive or too permissive, so as people
grab this and play with it, I'd appreciate hearing your comments.

   Have fun.

	-Steve
