Hi,

I am using Zterm to upload/download to UNIX hosts. I've
noticed that text transfers usually run at ~200 cps, or 80%
efficiency, while binary transfers run at ~150cps, or 60% efficieny.
Does anyone know why this is the case? Is there any way to speed
up binary transfers?

Also, is there a Macintosh zmodem-capable program that
supports zmodem compression?

THanks,
Please reply to cht@athena.mit.edu
