Does anyone have any documentation or helpful hints on using the OPTI
chipset extended setup in AMI's 386 BIOS? I have a non-cached 386/25 with
4Mb RAM, and I would like to disable Shadow RAM, since it leaves me with
3968K at boot time, and may be causing some incompatibilities I have
encountered (a mouse which locks up several programs which used to work
fine, a couple of games which don't run). Absolutely no mention of the
OPTI setup is made in the documentation which came with the system.

I tried disabling the SHADOW entries it listed, but the system was then
slower by an ORDER of magnitude, literally. It was horrible, and I'm sure
something was wrong.
