NeXT,

I don't mind paying $50 for 2.1 at all. In fact, we ordered it.
So, ship the damn thing out.

If you can't get 2.8MB floppies, USE 1.4MB ones!!!!!

I applaud the decision to incorporate 2.8MB drive into new
machines, but I HATE what you are doing now: holding off
distribution of 2.1 possibly because of the lack of enough
2.8 MB media.

This is STUPID. There is no reason to be unneccearily purist
at this level. Ship the damn thing on 1.4MB's.
AND this is even cheaper for you.

I forgive you for not shipping 2.0 due to the lack of 256MB
single sided OD's, because 2-sided ODs were available but
were more expensive.
But, if you don't ship 2.1 update soon, I will really be MAD.

Maintaing one's principle is fine, but do it where it counts.
Not shipping 2.1 update on 1.4 is not one of them.
