I am trying to connect the Cube to a tablet device though a serial
port. But the device has 8 data bits and one parity bit,and I can't
change it(Mitsubishi XT1000 unit).

Can somebody know a way to change the serial port bit configuration
of the Cube so that it can send/receive 9 bits including a parity?

What does the 'pass8' option of 'stty' will do exactly?

I really appreciate your help on this.

Thanks!
