I recently insulated my disk-drives with tin-foil internally, as per a suggestion to cut down on 1084 signal interference in the cables on my 68k A1k.
I was wondering if anyone else had tried this with any kind of results? The
df0: drive is running much smoother now (Though at first I didn't pull the aluminum down enough and it scraped nicely along the underside of the freeweight
of the drive when it spun) than it ever has, but I did get one r/w error.
Thanks for any input.
