Subject: Multi-port transcievers -- any advantage?

I currently have two machines heating my cubicle, and I currently
have each of them hooked to an individual thinnet transciever.
However, I have the option of hooking them to a dual-port transciever,
and I'm wondering if there's any advantage to doing so besides freeing
up one of the single-port transcievers?
Thanks for any information...
