I've installed ELM on two SGI PI 4D/25's with no problems other than one
with vfork().  The SGI implementation of vfork() is apprently buggy, so
I was advised by people on the net to change config.sh to undefine it.
As I recall this was the only necessary change.

As for the uopt warning, I've compiled very few programs that did not
generate this warning!
