My understanding is that an educational INSTITUTION can purchase ONE
copy of WordPerfect and WPCorp will GIVE (grant, whatever) SEVEN
additional installations--to THAT institution.  I believe this to be
true for WP on all platforms.  For the PC version--I don't know that
this is true for the others--an individual buyer can buy WP from the
retailer of their choice and obtain a certificate worth a $100 rebate
from WP.  So (I believe) the 8-for-1 is for institutions only.
