If so would someone please let me know where.

alw.nih.gov
-r--r--r-- 2 kgorlen wheel 664692 May 30 1990 /pub/nihcl.tar.Z
found nihcl ok
alw.nih.gov:/pub/nihcl.tar.Z

Also is there a good sources group to check for C++ source? I scan
   comp.sources.misc and comp.sources.c periodically but haven't seen
too much. Is there currently or will there be a C++ sources group?

I'd recommend reading comp.archives; there's references to sources of
all sorts there, with a measurable amount in C++.
