I got a Classic a ouple of months ago, and promptly asked for the
half year subscription of MacWorld. I haven't received it yet....

I am actually getting quite annoyed with Apple. If I hadn't had my mind set on
a Macintosh, Apple would have cetainly lost my purchase. (I actually know
people that have bought PC's instead of Apples because Apple just doesn't care
about its costumers.) What really frustrated me was that I had a two-half month
wait for a Classic. That would have been OK,if I was told right from the begining
that I was going to have to wAit that long, but my dealer told me it would
be in the next shipment several times, and I ended up waiting for it
a lot longer than I expected. TRhe question is - the the dealer not know what
was going on - or was Apple giving them the run around too. I suspect the
latter. To top it off, both my keyboard and mouse have had to be replaced,
because Apple shipped faulty ones with my machine.

Am I having bad luck with Apple, or is everybody had similar problems?
