My original question was:

I have been led to XTrap on export.lcs.mit.edu, BUT THIS MUST BE BUILT INTO
the X11 Server (i.e. server extension)!!!!!

I WOULD LIKE SOMETHING STANDALONE!!!!!

evans@decvax.dec.com: recommended Performix, a company someplace in VA has a
product that doesn't require any server extension. Instead it works
simular to Xscope, inserting itself in the communication path. The
negetive side of this is the overhead, as well as the complexities
intorduced into the heuristic engine needed to be able to play back
scripts reasonably

Does anybody have any suggestions (PD versions?????).

Thanks so far to:
