The version of BIND in ULTRIX 4.x has some additional features, namely
Hesiod and Kerberos support, as well as some problems that are fixed in
later versions of BIND from Berkeley.

If you prefer a version based on 4.8.3 from Berkeley, I suggest you ftp
/pub/DEC/cra-bind.tar.Z from crl.dec.com or gatekeeper.dec.com. This one
runs on ULTRIX (both RISC and VAX) just fine (although it does not have
various unofficial patches to 4.8.3 that have been posted to the net).

This is, of course, not an official Digital statement.
