I just tried

"Test Window"	!"xterm -fg snow -bg maroon4 -fn '-adobe-new century schoolbook-bold-i-normal-*-14-140-75-75-p-88-iso8859-1' &"

and it seems to work with the quotes.

Hope that helps.
