I have heard of a program called meta-config which will take C source(s)
as inputs and indicate the required .h, .a, etc. files required to build
the system.  I guess this is kinda like the Configure script which comes
with trn (et al).

Anyway, any ideas?  I know that there is a metaconfig on jyu.fi but I
hate to pull large files across international links
