I have an RS CoCo3 with a copy of OS9 (given to me years ago when I got the
machine to do word processing). Now that I actively work in computer
communications, I want to start playing with OS9 a little bit, and perhaps
use the CoCo3 to dial into work.

In a way, I'm looking for a mentor who has gone through this before....

System specifics: RS CoCo3 with 128K, RS single disk drive, OS9 (hopefully
complete - if this experiment looks like it'll pan out, I'll invest in a
licenced version). Need to know: who makes hard rives, how much, what else
is needed to hook a harddrive to a CoCo3? Does CoCo3/OS9 support SCSI?
If I get a MicroCom 2400 or 9600 Baud modem, what other software/hardware
do I need? Can I get TCP/IP (or at least SLIP, PPP, or Kermit) for OS9?
(If I can SLIP or Kermit in to work, I'll be able to telnet to my Sun
from our terminal servers).

Finally, are there any OS9/CoCo support groups in the Ottawa area?

Thanks, please reply by e-mail.
