Does anybody know how to make inverse display in MicroEMACS?
I tried to do this, but I can ONLY do this for a WHOLE window, NOT
just a region.

It would be nice if it is possible to set a region to a different
color. (like the region of copied text). It is painful to dig
into source code and modify.

A related question is to change the way the beep sounds. I assume
MicroEMACS uses the standard bell (\007). But I don't see how I can
change that without tampering the source code.

Thanks for any info. If interesting response arises, I'll post a
summary.
