SLIP for Unix System V/386 Release 4.0 can now be picked up from
iabi.intel.com in pub/slip. The SLIP driver and its utilities is
available in two forms, source and pkgadd binaries.

slip.tar.Z - contains the sources of SLIP. To build and install slip
driver and its utilities from the sources do the following:
	transfer slip.tar.Z
    type "uncompress slip.tar.Z"
    type "tar xvf slip.tar"
    type "cd src"
    type "make"

slip.pkg.tar.Z - contains the binaries of SLIP in the pkgadd format.
To install SLIP and its utilities do the following:
    type "cd /usr/spool/pkg"
	transfer slip.pkg.tar.Z
    type "uncompress slip.pkg.tar.Z"
    type "tar xvf slip.pkg.tar"
    type "pkgadd"

The shell archived sources is also posted in comp.sources.unix:

Good luck!
