If using a 300dpi scanner (HPscanjet Plus), how can I scan
an image (photograph) so that the scanned image does not
require scrolling when viewed with a viewing programme?
Actually, I can scan the image to fit within the screen dimensions
but, it looks awful. I want the image to look like some of the
good quality GIFs that are available on the net. Is this
possible given the equipment? I am using Paintbrush IV Plus
on the software end.
Resizing the image after scanning does not help the appearance
of the picture.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please reply by E-mail.

Thanks,
Ken
