Subject: NFS protocol specification

Summary: Is the NFS protocol specification available on FTP, in print?
Keywords: Specification spec
Sender: Carl Krasnor krasnor@SSCvax.CIS.McMaster.CA

Distribution: comp.protocols.tcp-ip

In preparation for a major programming project, I would like to acquire
the full specification for the NFS protocol. Is this available from an
anonymous FTP site? Can it be purchased in print?

While I'm asking, I'm also looking for similar descriptive documents for
RPC (remote procedure call) and IPC (interprocess communication, BSD Sockets).

I would appreciate a pointer to sources for any of this information.

Thanks
