Don't expect any more updates to UniTerm beyond the last 2.0e 014(?) version.
I ran into Simon Poole at a meeting in CA last summer, and he definitely left me
with the impression that he's had enough of working on it. I don't recall if he
still has an ST...

In my case, I have moved to STalker by Eric Rosenquist who lives right here in the
Ottawa area. I am extremely satisfied with his product which I highly recommend.
If you obtain a copy, be sure to send in your registration as Eric provides excellent
support; heck, he even added the capability to use the contents of a FunctionKey as
part of the dial string for me. I need to send (currently) up to 39 characters to
my modem for some dialing sequences; so I asked Eric what he could do... The
current version (2.06) has this feature. In fact, Eric went the extra mile on
this one and allowed multiple F-key strings to be used (will not allow a circular
reference though). That kind of support has sold me on his products.

Anyway, we started on UniTerm which was provided to the ST community by Simon
completely free/gratis/no-charge; he also supported his excellent product very well.
However, I strongly believe he has moved on to other things.

Simon: I suspect you are no longer reading this newsgroup, but if you are...
How are you? Can you let us in on what you're up to these days?
Even if it's only fishing... :^)

UniTerm and now STalker/STeno: Two of the best, and best supported products for
the Atari ST line.

My only relationship with Simon and Eric is as a very satisfied user of both products.

Cheers,
Pierre

Oh! Almost forgot: STalker works on Moniterm monitors, Overscan mods, and (I think)
even on the TT!
