installing SR10.3 on 6 of our new 400t nodes. When we are running an X
application, such as Motif, HP Vue, or Framemaker, we get a little
colored rectangle in the upper left hand corner of the|> screen. It
seems that the more you work, the longer the rectangle gets, and it also
will change colors, from neon green to hot pink to dark blue. I called
HPollo and after some runaround ("there's probably something wrong with
the node -- reboot"

brand new monitors??] :-( ), they finally conceded that there was a bug
in the colormap. They are going to apr it. In the meantime, has anyone
out there discovered this "feature" and found |> a temporary fix or

I see this but it is usually in a DM pad. If a DM pad has a screwed up
colour map you need only type LCM, of course this will then screw up
your X colour map so you will then have to type LCM -X .

We sometimes get DM pads on the screen created by the ALARM_SERVER, and
these will exhibit the "features" you mention above. You can fix it's
colours
via the LCM or by hitting the exit key in the window.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

Christmas Cheers,
