Hi! I'm wondering about the purchase of Optical Character Recognition
software, mostly because I'm lazy, and I don't want to retype large
quotes from magazines, and would also like to have newspaper articles
in machine readable form. So of course, I'm abusing the time I'm
spending at work to ask netland some questions:
What experiences have you had with affordable (<$250) OCR software,
with what type of scanner (say, Logitech Scanman w/Catchword). Any
good deals out there? Is it worth it? How good is the recognition
ability?
Thanks whole big bunches of bananas!
