Really, what is the point of this type of message. The Mac is a nice micro,
as is the GS and many others.

You are perhaps overestimating the power of the Mac. I used to use them
every day, and still have occasion to do some word processing of a technical
nature on one. But the truth is I prefer using the GS as a terminal to work
where I can take advantage of our computer system which can do the things
I need. Personally, I find the GS more fun to use( and I have used Mac's
since the +), but the lack of multitasking on the Mac and other OS related
reasons forced me to move most of my work to a NeXT cube. The system will
be complete in a few months in the sense of having all the software,etc...
moved over, but I do not regret for a moment staying with the GS, adding
a NeXT and selling 3 Mac's.

Before you get on your technological horse again, perhaps you should keep
in mind that there will always be a more powerful system around the corner.
That is irrelevant if the system you use does what you want it to do. If it
doesn't, then I suppose it's time to look at alternatives. However the attitude
of upgrading just to keep up with the latest technology is foolish.
