I visited my dad in Kc (where I grew up) over the weekend. My
brother & I were surprised to see a large flock (300-400)
of cormorants Sun (21 Oct) a.m. They certainly occurred there
in the 50s & 60s, but not in that kind of numbers. Also lots
of Red-tailed Hawks about the city, including 3 Harlan's. Lots
of kinglet, creeper, Myrtle Warbler, Wht-thrt. Sparrow action,
plus one each Swamp Sparrow and Nashville Warbler.
