  your point is correct but this is part of that 'potential' I was talking
  bout.  If there is a local Appleshare server you can plug into it and
  use Appletalk.  I think the xfer rate is what, 240kbps?  I don't think
  you can do what you talk about with the modem though.

 I'm pretty sure you can do this.  However, I don't have the toolbox reference
 to cite examples from so I'll leave it to someone else.  (Matt?)

  I've waited awhile and I'll wait awhile longer.  I wont sell me GS but that
  doesn't mean I wont buy another computer.
