Hi there, a buddy of mine says he has a 2400 bd modem he can give
me but he doesn't have the power supply for it (his dad got it somewhere).
It's a 5 pin arrangement not like the normal(?) ac jack or whatever you call
them like the one on his 2400 and my 1200 bd'er. I can find these 5 pin guys
no problem but I don't know what amount of power I need. My friends 2400
uses 12v. Is that the standard or what? Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Help to get out of 1200 land forever!
