This would be going in comp.syst.atari.st.tech, but we don't seem to
have it here yet.

I was just looking inside my venerable SH204 and was wondering if it
would be possible to remove the Adaptec 4000(A?) controller and the
current 3 1/2" drive and replace it with another drive mechanism,
say a 105M 13ms Quantum drive.  Is it doable?  How would I have to 
configure it?  Do I instead have to get a different ACSI<->SCSI 
adapter?  People would like to know.  Okay, I would like to know.
