Is anybody aware of a product that would sit on an RS-232 line
between a terminal and a modem, that would allow remote storage
of small data files. The user would create files on the device
and then upload to a vax. Each file could later be retreived
and edited to be sent at a later date.
Techtran made a model 817 tape device and TRIDATA made a model
951 disketter drive. I can not locate either.
A solid state device would be ideal.
