I have an A500 w/ a CLtd host adapter, an Adaptec RLL controller and a
Seagate drive. Recently it quit working, and when I tried to do a low level
format, it gave me a "Unit Select Failure" error. :-( Is this likely to be
caused by a faulty host adapter or controller?

As a result of this hardware failure, I am either looking for a solution to
my problem or another drive. Is there anyone out there who is trying to
sell a used drive for an A500?

I am sending this from someone else's account. You can send mail either
to him or to my account (below). Any info would be appreciated.
