Hey is anyone having a good time using the various MAKEs?
I have some old make, but it keeps running out of line space. I downloaded a
couple of makes from the fish disks, but one dxpects some wierd defaults file
somewhere, and the other is the one that I have that only execepts line lengths
that are shorter than 1024 chars, I tried recompileing it but no go. I also
got Dmake, but it is not practical because it doesnt allow critical features
like line extention. Who out here uses what and why? And more importantly
How do I get my hands on a real MAKE, PD or otherwise.
In the same vein, what about ORD, the MANX program. How do I get that without
shelling out $500 for the development system? Ive got gome big progects to do,
but I'm stalled because of a lack of support utillities.
Thanks, Charles Hymes
