With such a penchant for producing memorable buzzphrases, perhaps I should
go into advertising...

No, it isn't withering.

It is in late stages of alpha testing (which started a couple of years ago),
runs on a few machines around the world, is built for demanding environments
and is still evolving (hence alpha).  Its motivation was Sendmail being
inadequate in many respects.  I will send more info to the people who sent
me private mail, but unless you are really^N fed up with Sendmail/MMDF, you are
better off waiting for the Grand Porting Exercise (beta) or Release.
