At one time or another, we have all participated in the creation
of lecture notes for theory courses. However, various obstacles
often make it difficult to enjoy the fruit of our labour (i.e.,
to obtain a complete set of course notes). I think it would be
useful for copies of all sets of notes, once they are compiled
(or even partially compiled), to be made readily available. One
way of doing this would be by putting them in the department
library. Perhaps there is a better way. Any suggestions?
