Has anybody used a MacII running A/UX as an ethernet gateway ?
We link up a thin ethernet and a thick ethernet (on separate ethernets).
In single-user mode we can spray through the gateway from our Suns and
it works fine. As soon as we bring up multi-user Unix it dies
complaining about
ae1: reset NIC failure ... (approximate message)
and then
ae6_intr: Receive overflow warning

and then the ethernet needs an "ifconfig ae1 up" to be operative again.
Anybody tried this before ? Can anybody help ?

thanks in advance.
