No, it's either a facetious statement or an ignorant statement.  The
latter type is far from unknown in this newsgroup and others.  Look
folks, if you want to be funny, mark it with ":-)".  Not doing so is
the mark of an inexperienced or careless news poster; this is not a
medium that conveys subtlety well.

The fact is, nobody's quite sure what the status of the jet engines
on the Soviet shuttle is, since there have been conflicting stories
for a long time.  The booster question is fairly well settled.
