So far the only piece of software that won't run on the Lucas Board
is Soundscape, but I use pretty plain vanilla programs, compilers,
utilities, paint and imaging programs, and the odd game. It runs all
of the Commodore diagnostics which they use for burn-in.
It is still 3 - 4 weeks before Transactor hits the stands, and I'm
still putting the final touches on the new PCB layout. It is my intention,
once I have the time, to list any software or hardware which is uncompatible
with the Lucas board and post them on both USENET and BIX.
The real point here I guess is that even though I've done what I can
to make the board compatible, with PD hardware its the more adventuresome
of you out there that get to be the Beta-testers. You can always hang
back a month and see how I did. My chief ambition with the board was
to make a 68020-68881 pair available to those who need it for as cheap
as possible.
