--[ New dumb phone at last, it cost £11.50 but came with £10 credit.

I have been on the search for a true dumbphone for a long time now [0], the
best I could achieve, without spending a small fortune, was running
a Nokia 2.3 smartphone with a minimal launcher which I paid £60 for.

Normally I try my best to get stick to older and low-tech hardware, with
3G being turned off already by Vodaphone, Three and then EE by 2024, its
just making that harder. On this occasion I splashed out and spent
£11.50, technically though it was £1.50 since it came with £10 worth of
credit, yup half the price of a overpriced coffee. On the retailers
product page it says that £10 will be added to your basket to cover the
price of the credit but it doesn't so the total should £11.50 instead of
£21.50! Lets be honest though, that's still quite cheap.

Before I tell you where, the phone in question is a Nokia 105 4G.
Features are limited to a music player, the radio and snake - that all
really. This is what it looks like too:

Total belter right? Unfortunately the best place to check it out is over
on good old http [1] protocol. It's good so far, it has dual sim so
I was able to put in my existing simcard as well as the freebie that was
included. It also has a slot for an microSD upto 32GB which I have used
to load up on music.

So where can you grab this bad boy from? Argos UK [2] go fill your boots
while it lasts!
