Please note that this is a PRE-RELEASE version of the Java 2 SDK (aka JDK 1.2) for Linux.  While we believe that this version should operate correctly under
most circumstances, we do not yet have enough experience running on 
the breadth of environments that are available to Linux users, so we expect
that there will be bugs.    

Also note that this version passes the JCK test suite, with the exception
of 3 tests related to setting multicast addresses, which we believe to actually
be caused by problems in the Linux kernel's implementation of the multicast
functionality.
