Kochi University Weather Index This Web site from Japan provides
weather information and images for Japan, Asia, and the southern
hemisphere, in addition to northern hemispheric weather maps.
Animation is available for retrieval in MPEG, GIF, and JPEG
formats. Users will find infrared images superimposed on
geographical data, colored images, full-globe images, and images
from both geostationary satellites and polar orbiting satellites.
This site also contains links to related Web locations, especially
