The Library of Congress maintains a collection of sound recordings
and films in its American Memory project. The Nationâ s Forum
collection consists of 59 sound recordings of speeches by American
leaders at the turn of the century. The speeches focus on issues
and events surrounding World War I and the subsequent presidential
election of 1920. Speakers include Warren G. Harding, James Cox,
Calvin Coolidge, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Samuel Gompers, and John
J. Pershing. The Library of Congress also provides a collection
