The Numerical Aerodynamic Systems Division at NASAâ s Ames
Research Center maintains this site as an update to the NAS
Parallel Benchmarks, a set of benchmarks for the performance
evaluation of parallel supercomputers. The principal
distinguishing feature of these benchmarks is their "pencil and
paper" specification, and all details of these benchmarks are
specified algorithmically, avoiding many of the difficulties
associated with conventional benchmarking approaches on parallel
systems.
