AOT Welcome

The Accelerator Operations and Technology Division (AOT) of the
Los Alamos National Laboratory researches ways to improve particle
accelerator technology. The Los Alamos lab currently has the
worldâ s best proton accelerator, and AOT is responsible for its
operation. Visitors can learn how the accelerator supplies beams
for experiments in nuclear physics, neutron scattering, and
isotope production. The 14 groups within AOT are described here,
