The World Bank server provides information about its worldwide
economic development lending projects. Information about social
and environmental conditions in countries around the world is also
available. Environmental data sheets and abstracts of economic
reports on such topics as privatization, public finance,
nutrition, and national development are compiled here as well. Web
pages of the five organizations that comprise the World Bank are
accessible from this site, one of which loaned almost $17 billion
to impoverished
